All Abilities Park

Overview

The All Abilities Park at Glenn Heights City Center will allow the entire family to have an enjoyable experience. The safe and welcoming environment will be developed as a part of the Glenn Heights City Center Project. The Park will be designed to be fully accessible to those of all-abilities and ages. For our residents and visitors with physical and cognitive limitations, they will no longer feel left out of the fun. Having a park where communities can be active and educated, while allowing the opportunity to enhance their social skills, is a great way for our community to connect. The all-abilities park will encourage meaningful play that will not exclude anyone. The City of Glenn Heights would like to celebrate the park as a beginning of bringing our community together with an inclusive play opportunity for everyone.

Milestones Ahead

In the final stages of construction, we are completing several essential features, including the installation of the poured-in-place rubber flooring for the playground, final grading, and the completion of landscaping. The park will also include outdoor exercise stations along the walking trail and accessible restroom facilities. Some tasks are being completed simultaneously, weather permitting.
