The City of DeSoto is preparing to perform a 3” mill and 3” Hot Mix Asphalt Concrete (HMAC) overlap of the section of S. Hampton Road between Glenn Heights' and DeSoto's shared city limit. (North to just south of Parkerville Road here in the city of DeSoto)
The project, set to begin on the morning of Tuesday, September 2, 2024, is expected to be completed within 3-4 weeks, weather permitting. During the reconstruction, one lane of the roadway will remain open at all times for northbound traffic only. For more details, please refer to the attached Phase 1 and 2 Traffic Control Plans.
