About the Board
The Zoning Board of Adjustments consists of seven volunteers as appointed by the City Council with two year terms.
This board is a statutorily created board which is authorized to make special exceptions or grant variances to the Zoning Ordinance, to hear and decide any appeals that allege error in an order, requirement, decision or determination made by an administrative official in the enforcement of the Zoning Ordinance, and any other powers or duties granted by the City Council.

Serving on the Board
Volunteers are vital to the operations of the City. The City of Glenn Heights simply could not operate without the countless hours that citizens contribute while serving on a city board, committee, or commission. All members must be residents and qualified voters of the City of Glenn Heights and members are appointed by the City Council.
