Social Services & Case Management

The City of Glenn Heights provides social services support and connectivity to resources to all residents, including programs for senior adults, women and children and vulnerable populations.  The Social Services Coordinator is available by appointment Monday - Friday, from 11:00 a.m. - 5 p.m. to provide support, education and resources free of charge.

A variety of social services are available to meet the needs of those requesting services or information. Among the services that are offered are: 

  • Benefits consultation
  • Case management
  • Connecting with local community resources  which include, but aren't limited to:
    1. Food Assistance
    2. Health Care Services
    3. Mental Health resources
    4. Emergency Shelters
  • Information and referral to assistance programs including:
    1. Children’s Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
    2. Community Attendant Services (CAS)
    3. Health Coordination and Consumer Services
    4. Medicaid
    5. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
    6. Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)
    7. Texas Women’s Health Program (WIC)
  • Home delivered meals for qualifying senior citizens  

Other resources may be provided by brokerage agencies offering services at our centers.
