The City of Glenn Heights Animal Control is a division of the police department. Its mission is to provide quality service while promoting safe neighborhoods for people and their pets.

Pet RegistrationPuppy and Kitten

Animal registrations are done at the Glenn Heights Police Department. The cost is $10 for spayed or neutered and $50 for unaltered pets. Dogs or Cats. You must show proof of rabies vaccination before you can register your pet. Persons 65 and older will not be charged for registration. Registration is mandatory and is valid January 1 through December 31.

Under Section 2.16.006 of the Glenn Heights code of ordinances animals are not permitted to chase vehicles or molest, attack or interfere with other animals or persons on public property, or be at large as defined herein. The animal enforcement agent is authorized to impound any animal at large.
