Dr. Glynell Horn Jr. is a dynamic and accomplished law enforcement professional from Houston, Texas, with extensive experience in public safety. He launched his career as a patrol officer with the Stafford Police Department and quickly ascended to Assistant Chief of Police. His journey continued at the Regional Transportation District (RTD) Police Department in Colorado, where he excelled as Deputy Chief of Patrol and Security Operations and served as Acting Chief of Police and in Emergency Management, ultimately becoming the Chief of Police in Glenn Heights.

In his spare time, Glynell enjoys audiobooks, traveling, and spending quality time with family. He actively engages with several professional organizations, including the International Association of Chiefs of Police, the Texas Police Chief's Association, the National Organization for Black Law Enforcement Executives, and the Combined Law Enforcement Association of Texas.
