Mission

To promote Community awareness, encourage compliance regarding City Municipal Codes, enhance the quality of life within the city, and foster civic pride.

Responsibilities

• To facilitate approved projects within budget and on time
• To utilize the hearts of the community in promoting park development, use and encouraging recreational program participation through public involvement.
• To promote an educational environment
• To develop programs and activities to bring revenue back into the Park
• To advise and assist the city staff and council in the creation and maintenance of parks and recreation facilities

We envision the Glenn Heights parks system being:

• A safe healthy place to play and relax.
• A place where our children can learn while playing
• A connected park system where people can enjoy leisure activities and nature walks away from the hustle and bustle of the Big City environment.
• A place where children and adults can enjoy organized sports and activities.
• A place to celebrate life and nature in the Southern Country.
