Positive West Nile Virus Mosquito Sample Reported in City of Glenn Heights 

Spraying is scheduled from June 5-6 between 9:00 p.m.- 5:00 a.m.

 Glenn Heights, TX -- The Dallas County Department of Health and Human Services has confirmed a positive test for West Nile Virus from a mosquito sample taken from one of the City’s mosquito traps located near Citadel Drive in Glenn Heights. In response to this positive mosquito sample, Dallas County will conduct ground spraying measures in the western regions of the City divided by South Hampton Road.  1732 South Hampton has been denoted as a no-spray location. 

 The ground spraying measures will be conducted, weather permitting, Wednesday, June 5th, 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. and Thursday, June 6th, 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. A map of the spray area can be located at http://www.dallas.leateamapps.com/PublicMap/
