Can I pay my citation over the phone or online or drop box?

Payments are NOT taken by phone. You may leave your payment or paperwork in the drop box OR you may return during business hours with the clerk to handle your case(s). Warrants are NOT issued during a court absence and additional time is added due to Clerk's office being closed for anything other than holidays and weekends. Juveniles cannot pay online.


If I have a CDL can I take deferred disposition or a driving safety course?

No you are not eligible if you hold a commercial drivers license (CDL).

Can I reset my court date the day of court?

No resets are given on the day of court. Exceptions may be granted in cases of medical or emergency situations. Determined on case by case basis at the discretion of the court.


How much is my fine, it is not listed on the citation?

Amounts are subject to change without notice, you will need to contact the court for more information.

Can I enroll in a payment plan for my warrants?

Yes, you may be eligible for a payment plan on warrants. You are required to pay half of the total amount owed in order to do so. Please see clerk to make those arrangements or you may mail a written request for a payment plan on your warrants. Be sure to include a money order for half, your written request with contact address and telephone information. You will receive paperwork back approving or disapproving your request from the Judge. Failure to provide contact information will automatically deny your request and your payment will be returned AND the warrant will not be lifted.

Where is court held, there are two addresses listed on my citation?

Court is held at 1938 S. Hampton Rd, Glenn Heights, Texas 75154.


What time do you close?

The court office is open Monday–Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. There is one employee and the office is subject to closure for lunch and other absences. In the event of closure, you may leave your payment or paperwork in the drop box OR you may return during business hours with the clerk to handle your case(s). My child received a ticket and is a Juvenile, can I just pay it and not come to court?

No, you must appear as required by law with your child before the Judge and only the legal parent or guardian may do so.


I want to take Defensive Driving, but do not know where to take the class. Do you have a listing?

I received a citation and do not want to appear in court. Can I just pay it before my court date?

Yes, depending on what the offense is and what it is you are requesting to do in response to the citation. Contact the clerk’s office at 972-223-1690 for more information or see the Municipal Court web pages for other options you may be eligible for.
