General Information

    Glenn Heights is a home rule city with a "Council-Manager" type government and is governed by the City of Glenn Heights Home Rule Charter. This Charter is dedicated to the citizens of the "City of Glenn Heights, Texas" and to ensure such powers, rights, and duties as are herein provided and to encourage the citizens' participation in the democratic government for proper and efficient progress of our city. To this end we ordain this home rule charter as prescribed by law and with the guidance of God.

    City Council meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 7:00 PM and take place at:

    Agendas are posted on the website and at City Hall 72 hours prior to the meeting.  Minutes are posted on the website following approval.
