Chat with the Chief's Police and Fire

Chief Eddie Burns would like to invite the Glenn Heights community to the quarterly “Chat with the Chiefs” event.  Chat with the Chiefs is a program that provides an opportunity for citizens to talk with the city’s police and fire chiefs to discuss neighborhood issues, community relations, current staffing, neighborhood crime trends, emergency services and fire safety related issues.  Chief Burns believes that open dialogue with members of our community will lead to improved service levels for our citizens and provide a framework for continued conversations in the future.

Chat with the Chiefs is held on a quarterly basis at 6:30 p.m. The upcoming meeting on Thursday, July 19, 2018 will be hosted by the Glenn Heights Community Mobile Home Park, who has recently partnered with the Public Safety Department.

Community policing is a philosophy that promotes organizational strategies that support the systematic use of partnerships and problem-solving techniques to proactively address the immediate conditions that give rise to public safety issues such as crime, social disorder, and fear of crime. The event will be held at, 499 E. Bear Creek Road, just across from Heritage Park.  Light refreshments will be provided.

We hope to see you all there!
