The City of Glenn Heights’ FY 2012 CDBG Project has officially begun on Godwin Ave. This capital improvement project will: 1) replace an undersized 4” waterline with a new 12” waterline; 2) add fire hydrants along Godwin Avenue from S. Uhl Road to the Russell Heights Subdivision; and 3) will improve the City’s water distribution system by establishing a second east/west transmission waterline (east of S. Uhl Rd./south of Bear Creek Rd.). This project is funded entirely by CDBG funds at no cost to the City of Glenn Heights. The project was awarded by the Dallas County Commissioners Court to low bidder Saber Development Cooperation of Dallas, TX. This will be a 65 working day project. If you have any questions or concerns during this project, please contact Glenn Heights’ Director of Infrastructure Charles Brewer at (469) 570-9021.
