What are the City Holidays?
The City of Glenn Heights observes the following Holidays. When a holiday falls on Saturday, it will be observed on the preceding Friday. When a holiday falls on Sunday, it will be observed on the following Monday.

Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
9/11 Memorial Day (Fire Personnel Only)
Thanksgiving Day and the Day After Thanksgiving Day

How do I check the status of my application?
Due to the volume of applications received, we are unable to contact each applicant individually following submission of the application, however, a confirmation email will be sent confirming receipt of the application.  Qualified individuals who are selected to move forward in the selection process, will be contacted by Organizational Development. 

How many employees does the City of Glenn Heights have?

The City of Glenn Heights currently has 68 full-time employees and 16 part-time employees.

How do I apply for an open position?
Interested candidates are encouraged to submit an application through our on-line Career Center. 

How long are applications left on file?
Applications will be kept on file for 6 months from the date of receipt.

Testing is scheduled when positions are available.
