Terri L. Miller, Executive Assistant to Public Safety


I have 18 years of experience in City Government with the City of Glenn Heights, nine as a Senior Court Clerk and nine as Executive Assistant to Public Safety.  My duties include office management, budget preparation and maintenance, departmental reports, payroll submission, appointment scheduling, travel and business expense reports, accounts payable and receivables, preparation of presentation materials, event coordination, grant writing and grant management, internal affairs indexing, vehicle maintenance records and provide customer service to the public and various agencies. I coordinate the Police Department event planning i.e.; National Night Out and our Easter Egg Scramble. Assisted with preparations for the citywide Family Festival and have also served as Interim City Secretary; preparing agendas, minutes, and records requests. I served eight years as a member of the City Manager's Advisory Committee, and have served on many task force committee's such as; Purchasing Policy Task Force, MS-4 Storm Management Task Force and the Website Task Force and assisted in the building and design of the City's Citizens Action Center.
